December 14-17 Potential Snow Event (Ohio Valley Affected)

18z GFS.
Precipitation north of blue line is snow.
The 18z GFS is indicating the potential for a snow event in the Ohio Valley. It appears a system will eject from the South, rapidly deepen, and move north into the Ohio Valley area. This track and deepness (strength) of the system would bring possibly some heavy snow to West Ohio and Indiana, while bringing rain to the East Coast. It looks like the GFS is the only solution at this time providing this storm, so we will have to wait until the 0z model runs to see if the storm will continue as planned or not.
