NORTHEASTERN BURNETT AND EAST CENTRAL PINE COUNTIES UNTIL 800 PM
CDT...

AT 735 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO.  THIS DANGEROUS
STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR COZY CORNER...OR 33 MILES EAST OF HINCKLEY...
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.

WE HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS REPORTS OF DAMAGE TO TREES AND STRUCTURES.
ENTIRE GROVES OF TREES MANY ACRES ACROSS HAVE BEEN LEVELED. THIS IS
AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION! SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!

FLANDREAU...ASSOCIATED WITH THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED
THROUGH MOODY COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT IS
ADVISING NO TRAVEL IN THE TOWN OF FLANDREAU. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE
TOWN OF FLANDREAU UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY.

Strong Storms Moving Southward from Lake Michigan- July 1

This morning, strong storms continue to move southward as a result of the warm front.
Check out this image of the storms.
That rift in the cloud cover just to the west of Chicago, IL is thunderstorm outflow- cool air that will lower heat levels in those areas. However, sunny skies in Iowa and Missouri lead the way for scorching conditions today.
